La Cathédral Américaine in Avenue George V was the perfect place to start Haute Couture week in Paris. A stunning location for FOVARI to present NÉVÉ, a daring collection paying homage to the Himalayas.

In founder Yara Shoemaker's own words, "Our pieces are built to be timeless, both in fashion and function".

An ethereal and smoky ambiance enveloped the start of the show. Powerful and angelic music gave space to a masterclass in design.

Look after look, dress after dress, as if in a dream, embellished by masterful draping mimicking the slopes of mountaintops, they walked down the runway.

Satin in various colors was the star of most creations. Snow white, sky blue, and dark noir reflected Mount Everest's inspiration.

I got emotional for a moment. This was after all my first Haute Couture show in Paris and it is something I will never forget.

Fovari's collection embodies the essence of femininity and strength. They have a focus on sustainability in an industry that is in desperate need of it. Conscious collections must be not only the future of fashion but the now.
