What do you see when you close your eyes at night? You dream or perhaps you travel through your imagination in search of inspiration. The night and its beauty were the inspiration for Clairs-Obscurs, the latest collection by La Métamorphose.

La Cathédral Américaine in Avenue George V was the perfect venue to showcase 20 looks that ranged from elaborate designs with ostrich and swan feathers to organza and chiffon with flower appliqués.

In their own words, “Our world is the beauty of the day but also the mystery and magic of the night”. (La Métamorphose).

—Some of the hues in this collection were as soft and refreshing as a calm ocean foam gracing the shores on a chilly morning.

The inspiration is woven throughout the collection. Every dress was exquisitely brought to life. 3D elements like tiny butterflies in soft organza with beads and crystal appliqués adorn a gown that is sure to turn heads.

One of my favorite colors is Aquamarine, perhaps because it is my birthstone. Biased as I might be about this color, some of the hues in this collection were as soft and refreshing as a calm ocean foam gracing the shores on a chilly morning.

La Métamorphose client is without a doubt someone who values quality but also enjoys a story. It is the storytelling of the garment that shines through the details.

The final dress “Lady Of The Night” is made of 40 meters of Mikado and 30 meters of lace with luminous crystals. Regal and intricate, while remaining light and effortless.
