Serena Williams
When speaking, or in this case writing about Serena Williams, there is truly no introduction needed. Serena Williams has achieved more in her stunning 40 years, than most people will ever achieve in a lifetime.
She has been ranked the world’s number 1 in singles by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) for 319 weeks, including a joint-record 186 consecutive weeks, and finished as the year-end No. 1 five times.
She has won 23 Grand Slams singles titles, and is now proud to have the highest title in her wildly intense repertoire, Mother. Her daughter Olympia and her husband Alexis Ohanian continue to support Serena’s every move.
But beyond the impressive data, Serena Williams has been a style icon for many years, serving as inspiration in and out of the court.
For her last match at the US Open, she designed with Nike her gem-encrusted gown inspired by figure skaters. This look was the perfect mix of comfort and style. In true Serena Williams essence, she wanted her love for fashion to be present in what has been called her last professional tournament.
She also accessorized the look with custom NikeCourt Flare sneakers accented by a diamond encrusted swoosh, elevating her look. Personalized, Queen & Mama.
As there was no shortage of diamonds and glitz, she also accentuated her pony tail with white beads, a nod to her iconic hairstyle during the first US Open win back in 1999.
Serena’s journey is far from over, and we cannot wait to see what she does next.
