Singer Palace Hotel, Rome.

The Singer Palace Hotel in Rome is a little oasis that’s a mastery of effortless luxury. A true traveler’s dream.

On my last trip to Rome, I wanted to stay at a Hotel that was in the heart of the city, yet felt quiet and relaxing. Discovering Singer Palace was truly beyond expectations. The hotel is within walking distance from The Coliseum, Trevi Fountain, and The Spanish Steps.

Upon arrival, the staff took care of the check-in logistics and welcomed us with a lovely espresso on the roof terrace. I wanted to make sure every detail was special because I traveled with my family, and they did not disappoint.

This gorgeous palazzo was commissioned by Sir Alexander Douglas (president of the Singer machine company during the first half of the 20th century), as the headquarters in Rome. It was designed by Mario Loreti and completed in 1930. However, the style has changed through the years, but the space still holds Art Deco details like the stunning marble staircase (my favorite part of the entire property).

The rooms are quite spacious and luxurious. Amenities by Ortigia will make your morning and night routine feel quite luscious.

A sense of belonging surrounds Singer Palace. It feels as if you are staying at an apartment complex that has hundreds of years of rich history. That is what Rome is all about. Soaking in the past while experiencing the beauty of the present.

And after a long day visiting Rome, a nightcap at Jim’s Bar (located on the rooftop) is the perfect way to wrap up an Italian night.

So, if you are planning an escape to Rome any time soon, make sure you stay at Singer Palace. Trust me, you won’t want to leave.
