ROBERT WUN
Article by Miguel Sagaz (Editor-in-Chief)
If you want to dream, be transported to a different world, or just be inspired, Paris Fashion Week continues to be one of the best places to do all that. On a rainy January afternoon, I arrived at Palais de Tokyo which felt more like stepping into a different world, where fashion met artistry, as Robert Wun unveiled his latest Couture collection.
The intersection of innovation and tradition is palpable in every stitch, promising a journey through exquisite design and visionary craftsmanship, sprinkled with film inspiration, and a haunting vibe.
One of his most impressive pieces “The Trinity Coat” was inspired by the film The Matrix. Embellished and hand-sewn glass shards adorned the black satin coat. As reference “The glass shard rings and coat buttons are custom portrait-cut laboratory-grown white sapphires by Anabela Chan.”

In this highly anticipated collection, Robert Wun continues to push the boundaries of fashion with a mesmerizing blend of avant-garde aesthetics and meticulous attention to detail. The blend of bold architectural silhouettes with delicate and ethereal textures is a wonderful statement of his talent.
This collection stands as a testament to his creativity and unwavering commitment to redefining the boundaries of contemporary fashion. Many designers want to do this, but not many succeed. Robert Wun gave us a masterclass in design while allowing us to be haunted by his beautiful, dark, and intense collection.
I was truly transported to a different realm, where the power of the music, the lighting design, and the models took Wun’s pieces to the next level.
Special Thanks __________
